Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we developed this Policy in order for you to ​understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and make use of personal information.

This policy applies to our websites, forms, and desktop video games, including but not limited ​to, Iconia Defenders.

We are Anawim Studios and our headquarters are in the city of Montreal, located in the province ​of Quebec, Canada.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Anawim Studios does not require you to provide any personal data that directly identifies you ​(such as name or email address) when you play our desktop games.

When you interact with our desktop games, Anawim Studios does not collect any personal ​information.

We may use 3rd party services that do collect personal data from you, mentioned and detailed ​in the “third party service providers” section. For example, we may collect your name or email if ​you request access to technical support via our website, by subscribing to newsletters, or if you ​contact us in any way (for example, by using a third party ID, such as social networking sites or ​gaming services/platforms). If you purchase one of our games, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by the ​store in which you are making the purchase, who specialize in the secure online capture and ​processing of credit/debit card transactions.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information collected as described above and to provide and improve our services, ​managing contacts, and sending messages and newsletter updates.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Anawim Studios adheres to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and does not ​knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We are committed to maintaining your trust, and we want you to understand when and with ​whom we may share the information we collect.


  • Authorized third-party vendors and service providers: We share your information with ​third-party vendors and service providers that provide services to us for a variety of ​business purposes, described below.


  • Legal purposes: We may disclose information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal ​process, law enforcement requests, legal claims or government inquiries, and to protect and ​defend the rights, interests, safety, and security of Anawim Studios, our affiliates, users, or ​the public.

THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use some third parties to help us deliver the best possible experience. Personal data may be ​shared with these third parties for the business purposes described below. When we use a third ​party, we only do this to process or store your information for the purposes described in this ​Privacy Policy, or when required by a court or legal obligation.


We may use the following service providers and/or tools in our desktop games:

  • Unity Cloud Diagnostics: Unity’s Cloud Diagnostics is a crash and error reporting tool that ​helps developers identify, investigate, and resolve the crashes and exceptions on client side ​devices that are hurting players’ experience. The personal data collected here is the “Unique ​installation-specific ID”. Which is collected only via automated crash reports, and only when ​the application crashes. For more information, please refer to Unity’s Privacy Policy.


  • Google Sheets & Gmail: Google Sheets is a secure spreadsheet application offered by ​Google. Gmail is a free web-based email service also provided by Google. We use them to ​read, store, and answer inquiries made through our contact forms. As well to store the ​emails of those interested in receiving updates from our newsletter. The personal data ​collected here can be email addresses. As any communication made through our contact ​forms uses these services and requires a valid Gmail address from the user to determine ​that the user is not a bot and to provide a way to answer any inquiry. Also users can opt-in ​to subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates about the company’s activities, such as ​current and future games. In these cases, the data is collected only if the user already uses ​Gmail and desires to communicate with us or subscribe to our newsletter. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We do not keep your data for longer than is necessary unless we are required to do so under law.

If we are required to retain your information, for example to comply with applicable laws, we will ​store it separately from other types of personal information.

If you would like to review, access, rectify, update, include or delete your personal information, ​please see the “Dispute Resolution” section of this privacy policy.

DATA PROCESSING

We don’t have any private server, however, we do have access to the information collected in ​the 3rd parties mentioned above. Anawim Studios processes such information in Canada.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We take your privacy concerns seriously. If you believe that Anawim Studios has not adhered to ​this Privacy Policy, please contact us by sending an email to contact@anawimstudios.com with ​the subject line: “Privacy Concern”. In your email, please describe in as much detail as possible ​the ways in which you believe that this Privacy Notice has not been complied with. If you feel ​that your complaint has been addressed incompletely, we invite you to let us know for further ​investigation.

Our website, forms, and video games, may contain links to other websites run by other ​organizations. This privacy policy applies only to our website, forms, and video games, so we ​encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit. We are not ​responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using ​links from our website.

In addition, if you clicked a link to our website or video games from a third party site, we are ​not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners and operators of that third ​party site and recommend that you check the policy of that third party site.

Anawim Studios uses reasonable physical, technical and administrative measures to safeguard ​all personal data it processes and prevent unauthorized access and disclosure of any personal ​data. Please be aware that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be ​100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any personal ​information that we process. By using our services, you acknowledge that your personal ​information will be processed in Canada and that Anawim Studios processes your personal data ​at your own risk.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

From time to time Anawim Studios may need to modify this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in ​our business practices, data collection practices or processing activities. We reserve the right to ​amend this Privacy Notice at any time, for any reason, without notice to you, other than the ​posting of the amended Privacy Notice on one or more of our websites and/or games.
